Greg is a star (again!!!)- Greg Maxfield wins apprentice award



Our amazing apprentice Greg Maxfield went along to Brittania Stadium this afternoon with Directors Adam Gwynne and Jayne Lowe to attend the Aspire Apprentice Awards.  The day just got better when Greg won the apprentice award for his category, which was presented to him by Jonathan Wilkes!  Greg had been nominated by Jayne and Adam for an apprentice award because of his outstanding contribution to the company.  Here is an extract from his well deserved nomination;

Greg joined us in November 2010 at the tender age of 18 as part of the TEP scheme from PM, he had a real desire to work hard and get stuck in!  He committed to long hours and weekend work  on top of his significant journey which begins each morning at 5.30am.
 
Greg undertook a lengthy induction and training plan shadowing other staff undertaking scaffolding work and using powered access machines.  In the very early stages both Adam (MD) and myself saw something very special in Greg that we wanted to grow and nurture.  The more we saw Greg work with our team and our customers we just knew that we had to build long term plans for Greg within our company. 
 

We talked through the apprenticeship route with Greg and as ever he was super eager and signed up.  For a company like ours people might say it was an unusual apprenticeship route- Greg signed up to a customer service apprenticeship.  Our company is hugely customer focussed and our customers drive all of our services- Greg was absolutely the right person to be working with us on developing customer service!

  
As a company we pride ourselves on customer feedback and ensuring that customers shape our services, Greg looks after customer feedback for all of our powered access customers and delivers around 75% of powered access service and here are some of his headlines;
·         100% of customers are very happy or happy with his service (2011-12)
·         100% of customers report that they felt safe and secure whilst work was taking place (2011-12)
·         100% of customers state that Greg is polite and professional in his approach (2011-12)
 

Well done Greg- we are all incredibly proud of you!
